TAME YOUR TAMP
Manual tampers leave too much to chance. To eliminate the variance, Timemore engineered the IMPULSE Impact Tamper to apply an even, guided tamping force with every press. Regardless of whether you’re an espresso pro or beginner, the IMPULSE Impact Espresso Tamper helps you get consistent results shot after shot.
Precision in Motion
The Timemore IMPULSE Impact Tamper is carefully engineered with a system of calibrated springs, orchestrating the perfect tamp for even, balanced espresso shots. Meanwhile, the auto-reset feature immediately brings the tamper back into position with a satisfying and tactile snap. So, it’s always ready for the next espresso shot.
All-Metal Components
Made for the most demanding of espresso routines, an anodized aluminum grip is paired with precision-milled stainless steel for the best-possible longevity out of a manual tamper.
Designed to Eliminate the Variables of Espresso
The proof is in Timemore’s case study, where a seasoned barista and espresso beginner each pulled 16 shots – same grind, same dose, same yield – using the IMPULSE Tamper. Thanks to the following guiding features, the variance between them was under 0.1 g/s.
- A self-levelling design and fixed collar keeps the Timemore Impact Tamper centred for consistent shots.
