Pre-2015 or Post-2015? Check Your Bands First
Primo redesigned the band ends in 2015, and the two generations are not interchangeable. Look at the ends of the metal bands wrapped around your grill where they meet at the hinge:
- Straight edge ends – pre-2015. This listing is the correct kit. Select Oval Large 300 (PGHLLG) or Oval XL 400 (PGHLXL) above.
- Looped ends – post-2015. You need the post-2015 kit instead: PGHLG for the Oval Large 300, PGHXL for the Oval XL 400, PGHR for the Round kamado.
The Oval Junior 200 kit (PGHJR) is the one exception – a single kit fits both pre-2015 and post-2015 Junior grills.
