Napoleon Rosedale™ 3 Electric Fireplace Insert
The Rosedale™ 3 drops into an existing masonry or prefabricated opening and turns a cold, unused firebox into a working fireplace in an afternoon. Multi-layer flame technology mirrors the depth and motion of a real fire behind a hand-finished oak log set, and the unit runs on household power — plug it in or hardwire it, with no gas line, liner or chimney work.
Key Features
- Up to 10,000 BTU/h — 1,500 watts on 120V or 3,000 watts on 240V, plug-in or hardwired
- Multi-layer flame technology that mirrors real fire dynamics, with orange and yellow flame colors
- Hand-finished oak log set included for a traditional hearth look straight out of the box
- 13 top light colors and 5 ember bed colors to tune the fireplace to the room
- ECO and BOOST modes for efficient background warmth or fast heat on demand
- Premium remote, Napoleon Home app and voice control for unlimited customization
Choosing Your Configuration
Only the base insert is required. The Rosedale™ 3 arrives with its oak log set and premium remote and is a complete, operating fireplace on its own.
Surround is optional but recommended for insert installations — a backerplate covers the gap between the insert and the surrounding masonry for a finished look. Choose a large 3-sided or 4-sided backerplate, a trimmable backerplate for non-standard openings, or the 3-sided backerplate paired with the small 4-sided faceplate for a fully framed presentation. Wall Controller is optional — the premium handheld remote is already included; the wallmount controller (W370-0317) adds a hardwired switch plate with a black or white cover.
